How to ask a question about your Antique Print

To ask a question about an antique print that you have, you need to post it as a New Topic in this forum.

There are 3 boxes to fill in:

1. Title, if you know the title of the print and the artist or publisher write it here, if you don't know then write a brief description like: Man riding horse in country scene.
2. Post, write a detailed description of the print here, what it looks like, the size, the condition, if it is framed or not, where you found or bought it, how old it is if you know and any other relevant information
3. Tags, put any keywords or phrases that might describe your picture: horse,country scene,pretty lady,dog,castle and so on.

It is important to list your print in this way as it firstly helps the antique print experts to answer your question more easily and secondly it helps other people find this post at a later date so that they might be helped as well.

It could also be informative to upload a photo or two of your print, useful pictures to upload would be a close up of the signature if you couldn't read it clearly, a picture of the back of the frame, a picture of the corner of the frame and of course a picture of the actual print.

Before you upload pictures it would be most helpful if you cropped them and resized them, for instance if you are showing a picture of the signature, crop out the rest of the photo.

... this should be easy enough to do using the software that came either with your camera or windows. If you're not sure what that is then just by clicking (or maybe double clicking) the photo on your computer then it should open in some kind of picture viewer which should allow you to crop and resize the photo.
